I am Australian, and as such I am compelled to travel!  No matter which part of the world you go to, you will always find an Australian! There are many parts of the world I have traveled in and written about, but the last two years I have spent traveling and working in Europe, and for the first time I’ve spent time in Eastern Europe. 

Much has changed  since I first lived in the UK  and traveled in Europe.  My first trip there was in the 1980’s,  and back then there was no EU (it was still the EEC), and no Schengen zone. When I first went to Europe, Australians still needed a visa to enter France and Spain!  

But I love Europe and the British Isles. I love to explore my own cultural heritage, and the history, art, music and landscape.  There is such a vast range of experiences to be had there.  

I hope to share some of mine with you.
